What can be reported
Concerns may involve requests for or offers of improper payments, collusive arrangements, abuse of position, undisclosed conflicts, improper influence over licensing or commercial decisions, or conduct intended to secure an unfair advantage.
Information that can help assessment
- Who was involved and their role where known.
- What was requested, offered, promised or done.
- Date, location and context.
- Relevant emails, messages, invoices, contracts or meeting records lawfully held.
- Names of witnesses or other corroborating information where appropriate.
Preserve communications
Keep original messages, documents and files unchanged wherever possible. Do not secretly access accounts, intercept communications or obtain evidence unlawfully.
Separate facts from inference
Describe what was said or done and explain how you know. Avoid overstating conclusions that the available evidence does not yet support.
